The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating and maintaining radiologic equipment to perform accurate imaging studies for patient diagnosis and treatment. They also provide clinical support, maintain documentation in the EMR, and ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology and possess current ARRT credentials and BLS certification. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist and pediatric experience are preferred.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedure. Knowledge of how disease and injuries are diagnosed and imaged radiographically. Knowledge of human anatomy. Ability to set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment. Ability to notice detail in drawings and differences in shapes and shading. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
