The postdoctoral fellow will conduct translational research on human type 1 diabetes, focusing on miRNA biomarkers, pancreas pathology, and novel therapeutics. Responsibilities include analyzing samples from organ donors and clinical trial participants, as well as performing various laboratory techniques.
Candidates must hold a PhD or M.D. and possess proficiency in flow cytometry, molecular biology, and tissue analysis techniques. Prior experience in type 1 diabetes research is desirable but not mandatory.
· PhD or M.D. · Pre-doctoral experience/training in type 1 diabetes research desirable but not an absolute requirement · Familiarity with computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases) and basic statistical principles
