The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for examinations, assist providers with medical procedures, and maintain accurate patient records. They are also responsible for laboratory maintenance, specimen collection, and ensuring exam rooms are clean and stocked.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of medical office experience, with specific experience in dermatology and cosmetic procedures required. Proficiency in electronic medical records and strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant. Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience is required. Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette. Teamwork. Professional in appearance and mannerisms. Able to demonstrate compassion and caring when dealing with others, patients, and co-workers. Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider’s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice. Strong organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience working on electronic medical records.
