Job Summary and Responsibilities As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
