The Medical Assistant/Scribe provides direct patient care in a physician's office and assists with medical chart documentation. They also perform clerical, insurance, and medical record functions while floating between practices as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and either a Medical Assistant certification, two years of patient care experience, or an associate's degree. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within the first month of employment.

Medical Assistant certification, OR Two (2) years of direct patient care experience, OR Associate’s degree (preferred in a healthcare-related field), OR Candidates who are not currently certified but demonstrate strong patient care experience and interest in the role may be considered. Selected candidates must be willing to obtain Medical Assistant certification within one (1) year of employment, and training/support may be provided. Licensure/Certification/Registration Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred. Basic Life Support (CPR) required or must be obtained within the first month of employment and maintained throughout employment. Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Candidate should display initiative, demonstrate the ability to multitask, and be able to assume additional responsibilities as needed. Proven ability to problem solve and work collaboratively as part of a team is essential. Additional Consideration Candidates who are not currently certified but demonstrate strong patient care experience and interest in the role may be considered. Selected candidates must be willing to obtain Medical Assistant certification within one (1) year of employment, and training/support may be provided.
