The role involves delivering individual and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to resident needs and facilitating collaborative care management by coordinating with various healthcare providers. Responsibilities also include addressing mental health needs related to severe mental illness, substance use disorders, depression, and neurocognitive disorders.
Candidates must possess current LSW or LISW licensure in West Virginia, and while a Master’s Degree in Social Work is preferred, it is not required. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with severe mental illness and neurocognitive disorders, is necessary, along with proficiency in EMR systems.
Current LGSW, LCSW, or LICSW licensure in West Virginia. Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution preferred but not required. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with chronic severe mental illness and major neurocognitive disorders. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
