The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and improve mobility. They are responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, billing, and maintaining compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved physical therapy program. A current Florida Physical Therapist license and BLS for Healthcare Providers certification are required.
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities for patients with injuries or disease. You will work closely with patients to promote fitness and wellness for healthier, more active lifestyles. This position supplements weekend staffing.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Integrate treatment plans with continuum of care and set measurable goals. Demonstrate competency in equipment use and safety precautions. Re-evaluate and modify treatment plans as needed. Ensure accurate documentation and billing. Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and State Practice Act. Required Qualifications Education/Training Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved physical therapy program. Licensure/Certification Current Florida Physical Therapist license (temporary permit acceptable).
