The Mammography Tech performs various mammography studies, including needle localizations and ductograms, while maintaining high standards of care. They are also responsible for performing stereotactic biopsies and quality control procedures under indirect supervision.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography. A valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
