• Type: Full Time Cleans closets and drawers as needed Collects refuge and regulated medical waste and disposes of it according to the established policy and procedure Adheres to all safety issues relative to hazardous waste, soiled linen and proper wearing apparel Maintains residents/employee information confidential at all times Moves furniture and other heavy objects as required utilizing proper lifting and/or transfer techniques Empties and cleans wastes baskets, relines containers and liners Completes job duties within required timeframe, according to established schedules or workflow requirements Makes beds and changes linen Ensures all check out and patient area cleaning is complete per all guidelines/procedures Ensures that all non-patient areas are cleaned as assigned, to include, but not limited to, washing, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floors, windows, fixtures, furniture, bathrooms, lights, screens, and blinds, Ensures that all dispensers are filled appropriately Qualifications 1 year previous housekeeping or maintanence experience preferred Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even hours as needed per assigned area Depending on individual job assignment must be able to operate automated cleaning equipment/machinery Performance of job duties requires standing, stooping, bending and walking for a duration of an eight hour shift 6 months experience in housekeeping preferred
