Qualifications MD or DO - U.S. U.K. and Canadian trained physicians are welcome to apply BE/BC in IM (U.S., U.K. and Canadian Board) Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates welcome to apply) Where you’ll work The MercyOne Clinton North Health Plaza is a multispecialty facility offering the right care in the right place at the right time. Along with primary care, services include cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, ortho and pediatrics. Lab and radiology services are also available. The primary care team consists of 4 physicians, 5 APPs and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff. Expect a busy practice with instant volume. Where you’ll live Clinton is a place to grow roots. Nicely located to big cities; two hours to Chicago, 2.5 hours to Madison, WI, 1.5 hours to Iowa City and 45 minutes to the Quad Cities. Iowa is in the top 10 best states to practice medicine in and Clinton has a cost of living 15% lower than the national average.
