The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and accurate data analysis. They also assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and manage medication administration in a clinical setting.
Candidates must be graduates of a Radiologic Technology program and hold certification from the ARRT or NMTCB. New hires must also complete requirements for advanced certification within 24 months of employment.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) OR Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) need upon hire. New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry or NMTCB prior to first day of employment. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2, including advanced certification, within 24 months of hire.
