Responsibilities Identifies surgical patients for inclusion in the program through inclusion criteria and protocols; collects and reports data; identifies all metabolic and bariatric surgery patients for inclusion in the MBSAQIP data registry; collects preoperative, interoperative, 30-day postoperative, and long-term (6 month and annual thereafter) follow-up data components for the program; identifies streamlining and process improvement opportunities in the data collection process and enters data into database.
