Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Physical Therapy Ability to work at various locations per diem. Knowledge of best practices in physical therapy. Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in synthesizing data gathered in the evaluation and identifying treatment diagnoses. Must be able to provide safe, compassionate, and competent physical therapy treatments. Must be able to communicate with patients, family, and co-workers in a friendly, supportive manner. Ability to travel to patient care assignments - Home Care American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire PT - Licensed Physical Therapist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy 1 year clinical experience for Home Care Physical Demands Lift and carry 40-50 lbs.

Examples

Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
