$16.00 - $18.00 Hourly Position Type: Full-time & Part-time Job Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Days/Nights) – Weekend availability required Education Level: None (CNA preferred) Category: Health Care / Physical Support Experienced Caregivers Needed for Physically Demanding Home Care Roles Greater Austin Area & Leander | 12-Hour Shifts | Weekend Availability Required CareFor is seeking strong, reliable, and compassionate caregivers to join our team in the Greater Austin and Leander areas. This role involves providing essential physical support to clients who require assistance with mobility, transfers, and daily activities. This position is ideal for candidates who are physically active, comfortable working 12-hour shifts, and able to travel to client homes in Leander, and North Austin and surrounding communities. Key Responsibilities: Physical Assistance: Provide hands-on support for transfers (including wheelchair and gait belt usage) and mobility for clients with significant physical needs (e.g., Parkinson’s, limited mobility). Daily Living Support: Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding using proper body mechanics and safety equipment. Home Safety: Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with pet care (candidates must be comfortable working in homes with dogs).

Transportation

Reliable driving to client location in the north Austin area and surrounding area is essential.

• Qualifications:
• Physical
• Capability: Must be physically strong and able to assist with client transfers (including lifting/assisting clients with significant weight or height). Experience with wheelchair transfers and gait belts is highly preferred.

Driving

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to client homes in Leander and beyond.

Availability

• Must be available to work 12-hour shifts and weekends (applicants unable to commit to this schedule should not apply to this role, but instead can apply to Austin Area Caregiver - Full and Part Time).
• Pet
• Tolerance: Must be comfortable working in homes with dogs.

Experience

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience OR a valid CNA license.

Age

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
