The Laboratory Associate is responsible for the pre-analytical processing of biological specimens, including data entry, order review, and sample labeling. They also serve as a primary resource for specimen receiving and assist with facilitating send-out testing.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with specific semester hour requirements in chemistry and biology. No prior experience is required for this position.

Responsible for data entry of client demographic information, processing test orders and order review, reconciling specimen/order problems, assist with facilitating send out testing, ensure proper patient registration, paper requisition filing, supply management support, answers phones, ensuring proper labeling of samples and sample distribution. Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences including 24 semester hours of science courses that include 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of any combination of chemical or biological sciences.
