Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of pathology specimens Diagnose diseases based on laboratory and clinical findings Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and treatment options Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations Provide expert consultations to other medical staff as needed Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Stay abreast of advancements in pathology and related medical fields

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Pathology or eligibility for certification 1-3 years of clinical experience in pathology (Associate level) Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus
