The Respiratory Care Assistant performs basic respiratory care procedures including aerosol delivery, airway clearance, and patient monitoring. They also assist with special procedures such as CPR and equipment setup while maintaining patient information security.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program and hold a current Ohio Limited Practice Permit. A High School Diploma or GED and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
