The Locum MD will administer anesthesia, monitor patient vital signs, and ensure safety during surgical procedures. They will also collaborate with medical staff to develop care plans and manage postoperative recovery.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed an accredited anesthesiology residency program. An active medical license and board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology are required.

As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to the overall efficiency of our medical team.
Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and obtain informed consent from patients Manage postoperative pain relief and monitor recovery from anesthesia Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment Educate patients about anesthesia and address any concerns Maintain accurate and timely medical records of patient care
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and patient management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
Weeknight and weekend beeper call required
Patient Population: Adults and minimal healthy pediatrics
OB cases required
EMR: Epic
