The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents. They will also provide psychotherapy, medication management, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and possess an active medical license in Massachusetts. Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is required, and board certification is preferred.

As a Locum Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions in children and adolescents, providing compassionate care and support. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to develop effective treatment plans, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide psychotherapy and medication management as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Stay informed about the latest developments in child and adolescent psychiatry
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry Strong clinical skills and ability to work with diverse populations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practice Board certification in Psychiatry is preferred but not required
Schedule: 8:30a-5p
No call requirement
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: 8-10 patients, 1-2 admissions, 1-2 discharges
Patient Population: Adolescents and some NDU patients
Average Length of Stay: 12 days
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
