The Locum MD will administer anesthesia, monitor patient vitals, and collaborate with surgical teams during procedures. They are also responsible for conducting pre-anesthetic assessments, managing patient recovery, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must hold an MD degree and have completed a residency in Anesthesiology with a valid California medical license. Proficiency in pediatric anesthesiology and current BLS/ACLS certifications are required.

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during surgery Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Stay updated on the latest anesthetic techniques and protocols
MD degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology Valid medical license to practice in the state of California Strong understanding of pediatric anesthesiology principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred
Flexible Schedule: Minimum 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
No call
Patient Census: 1 per day
Patient Ages: Pediatric
CRNA and resident supervision required
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
