The Locum MD will provide comprehensive surgical care in cardiothoracic and vascular specialties, including performing complex procedures and managing patient follow-ups. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient outcomes and safety protocols.
Candidates must hold a medical degree from an accredited institution and possess a valid medical license to practice in the relevant state. Experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery is required, with board certification preferred.

Provide comprehensive surgical care in cardiothoracic and vascular specialties Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in surgery Participate in surgical procedures, including complex cases Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies Support training and mentorship of junior medical staff
Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state Experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Preferred: Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery or Vascular Surgery Level II Trauma
Schedule: Night and weekend shifts
Call Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
Daily Volume: 2 cases
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

CAE, aneurysm repair, femoral bypass, fistula, endovascular and open surgical reconstruction for deep vein occlusions, endovascular therapy for PAD, and endovascular therapy for gangrene of the limbs
Additional Conditions Treated: Vascular malformations, Nutcracker Syndrome, lymphedema, venous wounds, carotid stents, and varicose veins
Must be board-certified
