Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits. Candidates must have 3 years of relevant laboratory experience and hold an MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification.
Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgment regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.
