The Phlebotomist/Lab Tech will coordinate and manage clinical studies, including participant screening, recruitment, and enrollment. They are also responsible for collecting, processing, and shipping research specimens while maintaining accurate study documentation.
Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience and possess phlebotomy skills, with certification being recommended. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and communication skills are required for this role.
Education/ Training: Phlebotomy skills required, Certification recommended. Additional Qualifications: Expert database and computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and assume responsibility, excellent organizational skills, ability to meet data deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Maintain data integrity within the department. Must be able to work in a team consisting of physicians, nurses, technicians, secretarial staff and ancillary hospital staff. Knowledge of FDA Regulations and Good Clinical Practices.
