The Medical Assistant provides clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers by preparing patients for exams, documenting medical history, and performing nursing procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical supplies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing patient communications.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of relevant clinical experience or completion of an approved medical assistant program. Preferred certifications include CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA, or EMT.
