The Medical Assistant provides direct clinical support by performing diagnostic tests, administering injections, and assisting physicians with patient care. They also manage administrative tasks such as documentation in electronic medical records, insurance verification, and maintaining clinical supplies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and are preferred to hold a CMA or RMA certification from an accredited program. At least one year of experience in a medical practice is preferred, along with knowledge of OSHA guidelines and medical record documentation standards.
