The pharmacist is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring patient-specific pharmacotherapy, and providing drug information to healthcare providers. They also participate in medical emergency management, formulary processes, and the development of medication-use policies.
Candidates must possess a current Oregon Pharmacy license or be eligible for reciprocity. Preferred qualifications include a background and experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
Knowledge of pharmacokinetics, drug utilization review, drug distribution systems; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hospital pharmacy background and experience. Willing and eligible to be a preceptor within a PGY1 Residency Program. Eligible to obtain and maintain a Preceptor License with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
Possess a current Oregon Pharmacy license or eligible for reciprocity.
