The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They are responsible for preparing and administering contrast agents and maintaining accurate positioning and technical standards.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology or MRI certificate program. A valid Reg Technologist (R) (MR) license and Basic Life Support certification are required.
