The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining quality diagnostic images while adhering to strict radiation safety protocols for patients and staff. They must also maintain medical records, manage equipment, and ensure the cleanliness of the treatment area according to OSHA guidelines.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). A valid license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Virginia is required, along with strong communication and keyboarding skills.
