The Physician Assistant provides direct patient care in the emergency room according to hospital policies and standards. They collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to assess, plan, and coordinate treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a current Physician Assistant license in the State of Oklahoma and have previous professional experience. BLS certification is required within 30 days, with ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire.

The Emergency Department Physician Assistant provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Hospital. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the APRN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
