The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting with clinical procedures. They also manage clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Candidates must hold a current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent) or a Paramedic/Advanced EMT license in the State of Utah. Proficiency in clinical specialty skills and the ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 healthcare setting are required.
