The Nuclear Medicine Technician prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They must also adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and hold relevant certifications such as ARRT(N), NMTCB, or ASCP(N). A Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate from the State of New Mexico and BLS certification are also required.
Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
