The Behavioral Health Specialist provides crisis intervention, case management, and stabilization support to adult clients in community and telehealth settings. They collaborate with clinical teams to assess needs, develop short-term stabilization plans, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree or at least three years of experience in behavioral health, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Applicants must meet the qualifications for a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) and hold a valid driver's license.
The Behavioral Health Specialist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for providing case management services to a diverse clientele of children and families with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Services may be provided via telehealth, outpatient offices, and/or community-based settings. This position requires the Behavioral health specialist to work with our adult clients in Crisis.
