Perform a wide range of cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Provide accurate documentation and preliminary interpretation of diagnostic results.
Requires graduation from a registry-approved ultrasound program and two years of experience in each modality. Must hold active credentials from ARDMS or CCI in both echocardiography and vascular testing.
Performs both cardiac and vascular ultrasound testing to include 2D echo/Doppler, dobutamine stress, exercise stress, and multiple vascular procedures including carotids, arterials, venous duplex, aorta, and renal artery duplex, as well as other related duties assigned by manager, supervisor or lead sonographer. Qualified individual is able to provide cardiac and vascular ultrasound to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary interpretation of results.
