The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct physical therapy interventions as delegated by a licensed therapist. They are also responsible for documenting treatments and tracking patient progress in medical records.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Assistant program and hold current registration or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist Assistant. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.

The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. The person in this role will also record treatments given and note progress in medical records. In this role, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants High school diploma or equivalent required.
