The COTA is responsible for planning and conducting occupational therapy programs while maintaining accurate patient records and progress reports. They also evaluate residents' physical and mental abilities to establish realistic rehabilitation goals and implement skill-building activities.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistance program and hold a current Ohio license. One to two years of related experience is preferred, along with the ability to pass background and drug screenings.
