The Ambulatory Nurse provides competent healthcare, facilitates patient education, and ensures accurate documentation of care. They also coordinate clinical procedures, manage medication inventory, and support the development of staff and students.
Candidates must hold a valid Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. A college diploma in nursing is required for this position.
The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
