Veterinary Assistant – Full Time Must be available to work every other Saturday

We are looking for a dependable, compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our busy and growing veterinary team. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

include:
Assisting doctors and technicians with exams and treatments
Animal restraint and patient care
Drawing up and giving vaccines as appropriate
Lab work and diagnostics - prepping labwork to send out as well as running in-house labwork
Maintaining clean exam rooms and treatment areas
Accurate medical recordkeeping (Avimark experience a plus!)
Bonus if able to draw blood and other technicial skills.
