The LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care services, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care under the supervision of an RN or physician. They are also responsible for meeting the communication needs of patients and families while maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must hold a current and valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse and possess a current BLS certificate. Additionally, the role requires obtaining and maintaining IV certification within 30 days and ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care Meets the communication needs of the patient and family Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse Nurses provide CPR, Patient Care, Update Documentation, Specimens, Wound Care and Vital Signs
