The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining quality x-rays while implementing strict radiation safety procedures for patients and staff. They must also maintain medical equipment, document procedures accurately, and assist with clinical tasks as directed.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). A valid license from the Virginia Board of Health Professions is required, along with strong communication and keyboarding skills.
