The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in the daily functions of the pharmacy, including receiving, processing, and dispensing medication orders. They are also responsible for transporting drugs, maintaining inventory, and performing duties related to IV solutions and automated dispensing cabinets.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be a Registered Technician with the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy. Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required within one year of hire, and 1+ years of pharmacy experience is preferred.
