The therapist will conduct intake assessments, develop person-centered treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and families. They will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher and possess a valid Michigan license (LMSW, LPC, LLP, or equivalent). One year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families is required.

We have a market-based compensation structure. The estimated salary for the Therapist Children's Outpatient will vary based on a candidate's transferable work experience and qualifications. The salary is just one component of total compensation including a comprehensive benefit package of affordable medical plans, employer paid dental, vision and long-term disability, 401(K) with employer contribution, flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent, paid time off, 11 paid holidays, free license supervision and eligibility for biweekly incentives.
To qualify for this position, you will need the following: Must have a Master’s Degree or higher and be a psychologist (TLLP, LLP, or LP), licensed master’s social worker (LMSW) or limited licensed master’s social worker (LLMSW) supervised by a licensed master’s social worker, licensed professional counselor (LPC) or limited licensed professional counselor (LLPC) currently in the state of Michigan. Full license (LMSW, LP, or LPC) preferred. Or must obtain state licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, LLP) within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire, this period may be extended by up to an additional 60-days of training at the sole discretion of the employer. Failure to obtain licensure within the training period will result in the employee being unqualified to perform the function. Beyond the training period, all state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action. Must possess and retain current licensure in the State of Michigan. Must also meet Michigan Department of Community Health requirements for a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) within 120 days of hire. Must have acceptable MDHHS Central Registry and criminal background check clearance. One year of experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of minors and their families required. Electronic medical record experience preferred. Proficient with use of computer, (including email, word processing, excel spreadsheets, and databases, etc.) experience with electronic medical preferred. Additional requirements include: cultural competency, ability to work effectively with a diverse population, the ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with children and families in a variety of modes of treatment, the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers, effective communication skills, and a willingness to be flexible.
