The Mental Health Technician provides direct care, supervision, and crisis intervention for patients with medical and behavioral issues. They also assist with unit programming, document patient progress, and facilitate activities of daily living.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Current CPR certification is required, and SAMA training must be completed.
