The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and documents progress in electronic health records. They implement established treatment programs and assist in assessing daily living skills for patients across various care settings.
Candidates must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of practice. Preferred qualifications include BLS Basic Life Support certification and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) status.
