The Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately positioning patients and administering prescribed radiation doses according to treatment plans. They also maintain patient flow and provide supportive care by assessing side effects and psychosocial needs.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and hold a current ARRT certification or be registry eligible. CPR certification is required, and one to two years of experience in radiation therapy is preferred.

Under general supervision. accurately positions patients and administers prescribed radiation doses according to the designated treatment plan. Maintains efficient patient flow and provides supportive care by assessing potential side effects and psychosocial needs to collaborate with physicians and other departments. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. A current ARRT certification, or registry eligible, is required. CPR certification required. A minimum of one to two years’ experience working in radiation therapy preferred. Great interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills a priority. Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility a must. Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills required.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
