The Primary Therapist works within a multidisciplinary team to provide individual and group therapy, conduct diagnostic assessments, and manage client treatment and discharge planning. They are responsible for maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation and coordinating care with both clinical and non-clinical departments.
Candidates must hold a California license (LMFT or LCSW) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and possess at least five years of experience in a chemical dependency treatment environment. Strong knowledge of psychopathology, addiction, and mental health regulations is required.

With the supervision of the Clinical Director, works with the clinical staff in the assessment of client’s needs, treatment planning, facilitation, advocacy for options and services to meet an individual’s mental and physical health needs through communication and available resources to promote quality cost-effective outcomes.
