Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications while maintaining drug inventory and patient records. They must demonstrate initiative and competency in specialized areas of the department while working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Candidates must hold a current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. A minimum of three to five years of equivalent experience is required for this position.
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.
