The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for administering ionizing and nonionizing radiation, radiopharmaceuticals, and medications for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. They perform imaging procedures, analyze data, and ensure patient safety while maintaining compliance with institutional and legal standards.
Candidates must hold a certification from the NMTCB or ARRT-N and have completed a specialty training program in Radiologic Technology. A minimum of one year of related work experience is preferred, along with a Basic Life Support certification.
