The Hand Surgeon is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with injuries or illnesses while maintaining accurate medical documentation. They must also counsel patients on preventive healthcare and meet annual quality, safety, and patient engagement goals.
Candidates must hold a doctorate in a medical field from an accredited school and possess board certification or be eligible for it. Additionally, they must be licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota or Minnesota and be insurable under the health system's professional liability carrier.
