Sterile Processing Tech

• Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
• Sterile Processing Tech at Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Pay Range

$21.00/hr - $24.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
