The Audiologist will perform comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services for auditory and vestibular disorders across all age groups. Responsibilities include assessing hearing function, fitting amplification devices, and providing patient education on hearing conservation and tinnitus management.
Candidates should hold a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or a Master's degree with relevant clinical experience. Applicants must be eligible for or hold an active Vermont Audiology license and possess CCC-A or ABA Board Certification.
This well-established, hospital-employed outpatient ENT clinic in Rutland, VT is seeking an Audiologist to join its growing team. This opportunity offers a collaborative clinical environment, a diverse patient population, and access to advanced diagnostic and treatment resources.
This role supports patients across the lifespan—from pediatric to geriatric—delivering comprehensive audiological services focused on the assessment, treatment, and prevention of hearing and balance disorders.
The Audiologist will provide a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services related to auditory and vestibular function, including: Assessing and diagnosing auditory function using behavioral and electrophysiological measures Evaluating vestibular function through clinical and electrophysiological testing Counseling patients and families on hearing loss, treatment options, and educational implications (particularly in pediatric cases) Evaluating and fitting amplification devices, including osseointegrated devices (adults only), with ongoing patient education and support Assessing and managing tinnitus Educating patients on hearing conservation and noise protection strategies
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) preferred; Master’s degree with relevant experience considered
Experience: Completion of an accredited clinical externship required 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred
Eligible for or active Audiology licensure in the State of Vermont Eligibility for CCC-A or ABA Board Certification
